Wiehnachtsmaert

a Christmas Fair in Luzern

Some of the beautiful handmade goods

I didn't get a picture of the stall, but I really truly did try Horse Sausage.

It was freeeeeeezing cold.

It was so great to be at a Christmas Fair that celebrated the reason for Christmas---Christ!
This is a life size nativity.

My sweet aunt Tanja joined us, and we ate buure bratwurst and knobli brot for dinner.

  2. How beautiful!! We got to be in Germany during Christmas time, one year. I was eight, and I still remember nearly everything! We would window shop up and down stone laid streets... there were wooden puppets and all things Christmas on display. Good memories. :)

    Love you!

Gruezi! Please drop us a comment. It would justify all the time we've spent writing up blog posts and taking pictures...:)
